Move over Little Red Dress, this spicy red Jumpsuit is giving you a run for your money! I seriously get all the Holiday vibes with this number. Can you believe we’re just 60 days away from Christmas? I know you’re probably rolling your eyes because we haven’t even hit Halloween yet, but I am already getting information on Holiday parties and planning our family Christmas photos. Not to mention scheduling with all of our Christmas décor is going up in the house, haha. I fee like I am middle age saying this, but truly TIME FLIES! This red jumpsuit not only is a steal at under $35, but it’s super comfortable and flattering for anything Holiday on any body type. This is a sassy staple that won’t break the bank (and if a red jumpsuit isn’t your thing, it also comes in black and dark teal)!

I happened to wear this red jumpsuit last Friday to the kickoff of the Houston summit for Create & Cultivate. As you have seen on here many times, jumpsuits and rompers are my JAM. I could go on and on about why but by now you know all of that. And I wasn’t the only blogger babe who was loving this red jumpsuit. All the gorgeous ladies who attended the Happy Hour that night were not only super wonderful, but had me blushing from all their sweet words about this suit. The Create & Cultivate conference truly inspired me. I wouldn’t say that I learned something I didn’t already know, but I did get major inspiration that was desperately needed. Being around such amazing creates is really a boost in this blog universe. And it helps even more when you get to dine and laugh with your favorite blogger babes leaving you a bit woozy for the conference the next day. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all knew better but we were having too much fun not to order the last glass of vino. I am still recovering from all the fun, but it was oh so worth it. Life Update & An Oversized Cardigan TopShop Dupe Under $25

Hi There Loves! So I thought it was about time y’all might want to hear a little life update here on the blog. Maybe this life update is more for me than you (I could really use a therapeutic vent session), haha. So as of tomorrow I am officially a month out from only being 2 YEARS away from the big 3-0 birthday. You may have just rolled your eyes, but let’s both be honest.. transitioning out of your 20’s isn’t easy. I could be just making a mole hill into a mountain as usual but it’s definitely something that is on my mind much more frequently as it gets closer. And if you were reading along with me last year around this time, you may have seen that we were pregnant. No that’s not our current situation and we trust in God’s greater plan for whatever he has up his sleeve. But I’ll let you in on a little secret, we are most definitely trying! Hahaha. I’ll leave out the steamy details so you can enjoy your lunch.

Usually on my birthday I am planning something, even if it’s little I still plan something. This year.. nothing sounds like “Yassss, we are most DEFINITELY doing that!” I’ll let ya know if the wind is blowing me in any certain direction if things change over the next 4 weeks. But please, please do send my your ideas! I am all ears.

Work Wear: Shirt Dress

Do you ever find yourself feeling uninspired by “work wear”? I can honestly say that I loathe work wear shopping. You may ask why, and simply put because it’s very simple, not my fashion forward fun items that I purchase because they’re needed not wanted. Many working women purchase items they can wear to do both a date night out, as well as with a cardigan for business casual during the 9-5 work day. And if this is you, KUDDOS BABE! This isn’t something I do well. I wear slack, cardigans, and button downs to work daily. Yep, no Fashion Blogger here on my usual day, haha.

You see most of my favorite clothing purchase here on the blog, and let’s be honest with one another… generally speaking that isn’t exactly the definition of business casual. This dress changed that for me! I pair it with a long satin cami that has lace detail around the bottom to make the slits not so over the top in the office. But date night, there is no reason not to let the leg be fabulously shown. This dress inspired me to not be so close minded when work wear shopping, and I have faith that there are pieces that can do the very same for you! And to be ultra transparent with you on this.. I wear flats to work, not a heel in sight. Again, no office Cinderella here LOL! But there are some insanely fabulous mules trending right now I am intermixing into my cubicle runway, so see there are shoes that can change your whole boss babe day style. My tip for you…

Satin Date Night Top

This satin top just screams “Babe, take me out on Date Night!”. Not to mention, it will totally hide the alcohol food baby you’re likely to incur while out having fun with bae. Haha, this is a quality I like in my date night looks because let’s be real, this is a usual on the hubs and I’s date nights. I purchased this satin off the shoulder top at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and sadly it hasn’t come back in stock. I feel like I deserve a trophy for making it to Thursday this week, who’s with me?! Not to worry, Friday is just hours away. For the most part Kyle and I are going to have a quite weekend. I plan to work on blog tasks, and finish the Halloween decorations I am still behind on. Is this something you would like to see here on the blog? My Halloween décor is a mix of Dia De Los Muertos and the classic Halloween/Fall style. I feel like I found good ways to integrate the styles together. Off the Shoulder Sweater Weather

Happy Tuesday Loves! I’m sure we can all agree that yesterday was a rough morning to wake up to with the tragedy in Las Vegas. For me, I was determined for myself to wake up in a positive mood with a great outlook on life today. That brings me to this insanely amazing Treasure and Bond sweater. LOL bet ya didn’t see that one coming! The hubs thought I was absolutely insane when the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale came out, because I was calling Nordstrom customer service every hour stalking this sweater this sold out what seemed like instantly when the sale went live.

Yeah… I’ll admit it, I am OBSESSED with this oversized striped sweater. Not only does it make the my fall casual days dreams come true, but it also gives back to our community. I am sure you now think I am nuts if you didn’t already think that before, haha. But seriously, the brand Treasure & Bond that is exclusively sold at Nordstrom gives 2.9% of their net sales to the YMCA! That’s a double awesome buy right there. You get a fabulous trendy sweater, all while giving back to the community! And if you aren’t sold yet.. Houston gals this sweater is perfect for our fall/winters. If you live here you totally know what I mean, you can add a long coat over it if the weather does a 360 on you one day, or style it 3 different ways
