Thirsty Thursday in full swing! Okay, I lied but maybe after 5pm 😉
Have you seen the trend of fall florals floating around?! I am in heaven with this trending favorite. This makes transitioning pieces to work in multiple season so easy. To be honest, this is an older dress I have had from Esther Boutique, but with this year loving on all fall florals I am grabbing my moto jacket and hitting the town in this number. Don’t cry my love, Esther has amazing midi dresses available that will make your heart swoon! Even fall florals with bell sleeves (hint hint on upcoming blog post)

This week has already been filled fun evening events. From The Mostess Holiday box launch event, to my husband and I’s Houston wedding venue inviting us to their FIRST evening open house. Kyle and I are truly honored to have our photos shared with all the guest invited and reliving our special day at the place we became one! Yes, many northerners wouldn’t believe that with fall only being A DAY AWAY how badly I was sweating shooting this look! Here in the south finding great fall pieces that are still fitting for our not so fall weather can be a little tough, but this almost t-shirt style dress is perfection for just that. Francescas is nailing all the great fall styles filled with booties, gold, and olive. ALSO if you’re in need of game day attire that is ever so perfect, look no further than Frans. They will set you up to be a fashion stunner and not a game day bummer!

I am loving all the fall loose fitting dresses with booties that give me all the fall feels. Tid bit of I’m sure sad news to read… I am not the #basic pumpkin spice girl. I have never cared for the taste of anything pumpkin since I was young. BUT, where I can relate on the festive Starbucks favorites is the Caramel Apple Spice! No one pegs an apple cider like this delicious number. That is when I know the seasons for all things wonderful are upon us.

So when tomorrow comes grab your plaid blanket scarf, loose fitting fall dress, with bold booties, and head out to your local Starbucks for some seasonal sensation.

Since I was very young I have always been referred to by others as “Sassy”, especially by my family! Fast forward six years later, my mother gave birth to my little sister who she gifted with the middle name of “Grace”. Over the years little miss has been my ever shinning ray of sunlight. I knew when creating my blog I wanted her in some form, a part of it. When I was trying to dial down my name, which felt like a never ending struggle because I am such a perfectionist and this blog means so much to me, my sunshine peaked through as it always does. I realized everything about my style and me is “Gracefully Sassy”!

This romper is everything. It was exactly what screamed my name when I was searching for my blog launch piece in our current trends this year… A ROMPER WITH A TRAIN! I have ALWAYS, ALWAYS been a huge fan of rompers. They are so easy to wear and versatile! This is a must for me when I am trying to juggle twenty different things in a day on my time off and like to have one outfit that can speak volumes day or night. This look has been coming in many different colors and prints, so whatever your flavor is you can totally rock this fun beauty. And let’s not forget the price point, UNDER $60!! This particular one sells out extremely quickly on Vici Collection, but I will be sure to update my Instagram (gracefullysassy) and SnapChat (gracefulsass) as soon as restocks hit the shelf.

Hi lovelies! Happy Weekend Wear (that is what I call it anyways).

I love grabbing a statement tank, studded sandals and some shorts to enjoy my off time on the weekends.

Like most women I love, love champagne and wine… BUT I also truly enjoy trying craft beer and checking out a great brewery. That is something my husband and I both enjoy doing together as a day date on a nice Saturday here in Houston, TX. Most breweries around town are mainly outdoor venues so, I am not generally going to sweat it out wearing stilettos trying to relax with as brew and my handsome husband.

This outfit nails everything I look for on days like this. These earrings are insanely light as statement tassels! I pair these beauties with just about every neutral top I own. A great pair of white denim is a must for this year’s summer trend. I like a little longer of a short now that I am closer to 30 than 20 (shhhhhh!).

A girl can definitely dream in Valentino and Chanel, but these Steve Madden studded sandals are a better fit for weekend wear . Time to grab you weekend wear and head out to your local watering holes to support small businesses!

Dainty Attitude

The color pink hasn’t always been a favorite of mine, but this Francescas beauty fit like a glove. Not only on how it actually fit but, the scallops keep it so dainty, this color packs the much needed punch, and top with a smile and attitude makes me a forced to be reckoned with . White skinny jeans are a must this season, but for my body and some of the ups and downs it has had, finding the right pair was a struggle. American Eagle seems to do my bottom half good with denim they carry. They luckily had exactly what I was searching for.

ALERT! Block Heels are a must this Year. I have linked two options depending on whether you want to splurge or not. This block heeled sandal is very comfortable and so versatile. I am able to pair them with so, so much that I rave about them to anyone I see so they’re able to have the same luxury.

Now that I have a few posts under my belt I would love to share a little bit about my blogging journey (so far) with you lovelies.

Boy, did I feel over my head when I decided to finally pursue my dreams of style blogging! “YIKES” was my general reaction to pretty much anything that had to do with putting myself out there as a blogger. Little do most people, even close friends, know that I struggle with sever anxiety. The pressures of the day to day can be truly daunting for someone who is struggling with anxiety. Top that off with trying to put yourself out there…. GAME OVER! But, I am a fighter and I don’t just roll over. I had to ask myself “Why would you give up on your dreams when you’re able to overcome (with God’s help, of course) those issues?”

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” –Philippians 4:13

I didn’t give up and that was my sunshine in the rain! I got back in the saddle wearing my sassy pants I was born with and haven’t looked back since. Don’t ever let anything take you down, you’re beautifully and wonderfully made!
